On the afternoon of June 29, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin was at the Shindaebang 1 Bridge in Gwanak-gu, Seoul. She received an explanation about urban flooding forecasts and operation plans from the Han River Flood Control Office and Gwanak-gu Office, among other relevant agencies. She also inspected the operation status of floodwater level measuring equipment.

On the afternoon of June 29, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin visited a residential area in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, where basement flooding occurred last year. She inspected the installation of water barriers in the area.
