On the afternoon of June 26, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin held a meeting at the Sejong Government Complex. In participation were related agencies such as the Korea Meteorological Administration, Flood Control Office, and K-water. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss countermeasures in response to the onset of the monsoon season. She urged, "It is necessary for the agencies to collaborate organically and do their best to prevent flood damages."
