On the morning of July 6, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin met with the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Liu Weiping. The bilateral meeting was held at the Songsan Global Education Research Center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do. They discussed cooperation plans between the two countries, including joint efforts to address global water issues, during their participation in the 4th Asia Water Council General Assembly and the 3rd Asia International Water Week Kick-off event.
